Arlen G. Fleisher MD is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon and diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. For more than 30 years, Dr. Fleisher has successfully treated thousands of patients using the most advanced minimally invasive techniques.

Dr. Fleisher was a member of the charter class of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine earning his diplomatic status in July 2008 and is a physician member of the American College of Phlebology. He also holds RPVI (Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation) and RVT (Registered Vascular Technician) certifications awarded by the American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography (ARDMS).

Dr. Fleisher previously served as the Attending Surgeon in the section of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery of the Department of Surgery at Westchester Medical Center and as an Associate Professor of Surgery at New York Medical College.

In addition to running a successful clinical practice, Dr. Fleisher has published more than two dozen peer-reviewed articles and presented numerous papers at national and international meetings.

Dr. Fleisher is a member of numerous county, state, and national health organizations and has been recognized by the American Lung Association of the Hudson Valley with the Sir William Osler MD humanitarian award in 2004. A passionate philanthropist, he created the Mend a Broken Heart Foundation in 2003 to support pediatric heart surgery patients.
